Anyone running Tanabe Exhaust & matching Y-Pipe with HFCs?

Was curious if anyone was running the Tanabe Medallion exhaust & matching Tanabe y-pipe along with HFCs. Wondering how the combo sounds & how loud. Tried searching for videos but came up empty. Looking at pairing the Tanabe combo with berks.

Thanks

Not running their Y pipe, but I am running their exhaust with a HFC and LTH's. It would be measurably quieter than what I have. I don't have exactly what your looking for, but you can check my sig for video's.

i just got the tanabe y pipe and exhaust with berk HFC put on yesterday. There is drone at 2k rpm. Over 3500rpm is when it really gets nice and clear and LOUD. it really brings VQ sound out

hows is your cabin noise with your setup? any drone or noise complaints ??
reason im asking is im going to run momentum header and test pipe soon.

I get very mild drone between 2300 and 2600 rpm. I advise against a testpipe though. The exhaust does well to quell it, it will be very prevalent with TP's. If you could find some RTP's or HFC's instead, it will help. I think at full wail though, it would sound glorious. Thing is, we usually drive at part throttle, so rasp is something you will have to deal with every time you drive.

My setup with the stock manifold has a bit of rasp with the HFC, especially when the exhaust is cold, without the HFC, I would imagine it would be measurably worse. I bought a resonator option for my Y pipe too to play around with it. But with the M370 manifold, I noticed rasp isn't really there anymore except with cold exhaust pipes, and it is very minimal.

With volume, Your Tanabe will not be considered quiet lol. I'll say it will be over 100db. My family hears me coming from blocks away, especially walled neighborhoods. Next to freeway walls, I can really hear my car. It picks up a higher pitch with headers for sure.
When just cruising, it's very quiet, I can talk normal and everything, the tire roar is much louder. It's very livable currently.

I used to have this set up.. Tanabe exhaust with Tanabe's y-pipe and F.I. HFC's. I thought it sounded awesome. Its what I first had when I installed my SC kit. Sounds are always subjective but it honestly was my favorite sounding exhaust combo and never remember having any drone.. Kind of slightly higher pitched exotic sound, vs the F.I. exhaust I used to have or the MXP one I have now..

i have,Berk hfc's,motorydyne y-pipe with resonator,and tanabe exhaust,and m370 manifold.

its is loud. in my opinion anyway. with the addition of the hfcs i now have some rasp, and some rumbling or deep hums at idle, which also sounds awesome. on a cold start and first 10 mins or so driving it is raspy, then it seems to stop and just sound great, like a really loud g35 flying by. maintains the vq sound. and def has a higher pitched/exotic note up high. without the hfc,i had zero rasp and it was much much quieter tone.

i like to say it sounds like a "pissed off chewbacka"
