I thought it was 5252. My math is a little rusty though.

Oh and i got a peak at some dyno sheets they had on a stock 370 putting down 249 255 and 252 hp on the same dyno. And when i asked if their dyno reads high or low they said on average they see it read 8-15% lower than dynojets

Still word or mouth and worthless, but I am getting a bit antsy to get it on a different dyno

Why? Aren't happy with the numbers? You said it ran like a raped ape when you had the performance tune on it right? Hows the suspension feel, and what did your alignment look like?

AlexRaymond19 04-03-2013 05:33 PM

I meant the actual dyno numbers they told me about their dyno running lower than average were worthless. It grips like glue! A lot less body roll, changing lanes on the highway is like instant now. And believe it or not, the ride feels less bumpy! I took an off ramp at 60, **** myself, and still didn't come close to feeling like i was going to lose it. Its tight and peppy. So as of this moment i am happy with it. The valet tune is pretty cool too, i love the sound of it tacking out at 4k rpm. Sounds like a video game

When scaled for lb-ft, it is.

Any dyno will give you potentially "accurate" values, but I'd put it on a dynojet simply because they are VERY consistent from unit to unit.

Get uncorrected, SAE, and if you wish STD and then it will be clearer what's going on.

Just ask for the DRF files and download winpep.

That is actually the stock cat numbers. They said it made more HP with the stock cats by 2whp... I don't really know how that is possible... First impressions, it felt slow. I don;t know if its because its a **** ton quieter and just feels slower or what. I put the TP map on, and it friggin screams now. Its like stupid fast. Is it okay to run the TP tune with the cats on?

Also, i am most definately taking it to another shop to verify dyno results and see if they can take a peak at the tune and see what the deal is with the test pipes not making more power.

Do they have the TP graph, maybe someone else know better than us but these cars see to ALWAYS gain hp without cats, unless they have the graph I call BS on that, they didn't do it. Time to part ways with this shop...

This turned into a Journal:stirthepot::bowrofl:

4K is a bit high for a valet tune/limiter... You can still get up to speed with that. I limit mine to 2.5K. I mean most valet area where I'm at parking distance is only xx ft. away they can drive at 25mph max to get it to parking. This is the benefit of having the tuner version:tup: you can do it yourself.

Also, whenever I get work done that I can't handle. I put it in valet mode :tiphat:

I'm glad your happy your setup.:tup:

At least they gave you maps. I payed $600 and the fûcker wouldn't even make any maps for me. And he netted me all of 8hp.
