FI CBE or INVIDIA GEMINI CBE?
I need help on witch exhaust to get a FI CBE or an INVIDIA GEMINI CBE.
i found a pretty good deal on the INVIDIA used, another thing witch CBE makes more power for my Z? |
Depends on your budget and time of need. The geminis go for somewhat cheap and u can have one within a few days. FI is alil more pricey depending on options.....will b between 1300-1500 plus shipping and a wait period of about a month. Unless u can find a used one on the forums but theyre usually not dropped much in price cuz everyone loves that exhaust and they know they will sell.

True but what exhaust makes more power?
|
The FI. There arent many exhaust that compete with the hp increase as FI.
|
Wait period for F.I. is 2-3 months

I think most CBe puts down close to the same amount, it's just piping.
Dynos has too many factors playing in There is however big differences in terms of quality. Cnt topspeed, Megan, those are examples of crap. Invidia on other hand is pretty good quality for their price. |

If you want instant gratification and have no patience, Fast I is not for you. Midrange torque is pretty good with the Invidia. These are two diff platforms 60mm vs 63.5 mm each would have a different result.

Damn well I dont mind the wait. But I found a used Invidia for $700 is that a fair price? and is it woth that?
|
^ for an FI depending on the set up you choose, you could easily spend up to $1500 even more if you get HFC or headers along with it.

I have the Invidia and made good power. You can see the Dyno sheet in my signature. That was with Invidia test pipes, K&N typhoon intakes the Invidia Gemini CBE and uprev. I now swapped the test pipes for Invidia 200 cel HFC's for state inspection. My shop that tuned my car said a retune wouldn't be necessary since those HFC weren't very restrictive at all and shouldn't have lost any real power.

Which is louder
Is the invidia Gemini louder than any of the (3 options ex: resonator/non resonator) fast intentions exhausts?
|
The invidia has smaller mufflers than the FI does, but they just came out with sport mufflers so that could all change once they upload sound clips. At the moment, the invidia is probably slightly louder than the 12” resonated version.
FWIW I have the invidia on my car with test pipes. Very DD-able if you don’t mind a little drone. |
Resonators do not change the sound but rather the amount of drone when driving.
I have FI res tp and FI cbe, the drone is minimal and I daily it. Most people do it the reverse as I did. |
Installed my Invidia Gemini CBE today. Paired with an already installed K&N Typhoon. I absolutely love the tone!!! It's exactly what i was looking for.

I just bought my car in December thinking it had the NISMO cat back on it only to find out it had the Invidia Gemini CBE! I too love the tone! I thought about replacing it for the FI but I changed my mind! The Invidia sounds great, I love the install over the FI, and it’s already on my car!! I’ll add headers and HFC soon and I can’t wait to hear the tones!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
FI CBE, best decision I made.
|
:iagree: FI CBE is one incredible piece of craftsmanship. You won't regret it.
