Rasp!!

So I was driving my car today and then suddenly the exhaust sounded raspy as f*%k.. Sounds like its coming from the middle of the exhaust.. Think I heard a nut fall off on the hwy.. Might just be paranoid though lol

whoa not good if a nut fell off, you have test pipes? that gives the exhaust rasp :tiphat:

Looks like you are indeed missing a bolt. Did the exhaust gas actually melt some of your car's undercoating? Or am I seeing things?

Just go to Lowe's/Home Depot and get a nut and bolt unless you've got a good shop that won't charge you for a 3 minute job.

They just installed it 2 weeks ago! They better not try charging me! :p

I had the same thing happen to me, one of the bolts came loose and fell off. You have to torque them down hard!

Didn't know that. I'd be really pissed. Ask them if they have their grandmothers torque down the flange bolts.

I wish my exhaust had a missing bolt. I have Berk HFC's and CBE and it's got some rasp in the mid-range at 60%+ throttle. :(
