ARK Grip True Dual Exhaust Problem

2 Attachment(s)
Hey guys, i just got my ARK exhaust and ARK R Spec test pipes put on today. Ive been driving the car all day and its been sounding and doing great. But just a moment ago, i went for a short drive and noticed a wobbling/bulky sound. Part of the exhaust is laying of the middle strut piece that goes across the middle underneath the car. Is there anything i can do to raise the exhaust or eliminate this friction between my exhaust and the strut piece? Any advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Loosen up the bolts to test pipes and rear mufflers and readjust.. You will need someone to help you. I had the same issue.

Thats it? Figured i would need to space it somehow since its so close.

I just looked at it again and it looks like it bent a little part of the brace.

I got it fixed by adding washers to the brace, still very close but no problems so far!

I had the same problem with my Berk exhaust. First I had the hangers moved to raise the exhaust higher, but the rubber gromets stretched again making it rattle off the center cross brace. What I did was used 3 inch pipe clamps and placed them over the stretched gromets and jacked the exhaust up to give me a fingers width clearance and tightened the clamps down. Worked out nice so far. There is still some give because its a clamp over rubber, but it can't sagg now.

I have the same issue with my top speed true dual its like a replica of the ark but with alot more flaws lol. Anyways I just re-adjusted the whole exhaust as much as I could then ended up putting a piece of high temp hose between the pipes and the crossbar there's actually a perfect groove in the middle of the crossbar to hold the hose in place. Havent had an issue since its been there for about 3 months.

I had the same problem upon initial install. I too added washers to help raise it. I also loosened up all the bolts, jacked the xpipe up and then tightened them all back down.
