Topspeed pro1 exhaust with test pipes..

So I am on the fence about adding test pipes to my Topspeed (single midpipe) exhaust. I would like to know if there is anyone on this forum that is running this pro1 exhaust (single midpipe) together with test pipes? Is it raspy, does it hiss a lot, to loud in the cabin?

Please let me know
Thank you.

I havnt seen any exhaust that isnt raspy with test pipes. If you want the power of test pipes without the rasp / annoying sound, get the motordyne ART pipes or the ARK r-Spec pipes. They work.. and are worth it.

i had test pipes with my Greddy Ti-C (which is somewhat loud like the Topspeed) and I swear it was loud enough to wake the dead.

my cnt isnt raspy with tp's.... but since top speeds are known to be loud then i imagine they will be very raspy

I ran it.

Loud as hell. Just about any TP will hiss, regardless of exhaust. Moderate to heavy rasp on downshifts and WOT which is mostly drowned out by the exhaust itself. Drone wasn't really an issue cruising, but would manifest @ approx 2500-3500rpm depending on engine load. Sounded pretty awesome but almost made an old lady wreck on a 4/3 downshift and decided to be responsible and sell it.

If you're into loud exhausts and can tolerate moderate rasp, go for it.

I installed CNT hfcs this morning and happy I went with hfc instead of test pipes.. there is a light rasp between 2500-4500rpm but nothing that is annoying. I really think I would of got tired of the test pipes, but damn this set up is loud!! I set off a car alarm today when I down shifted 3rd to 2nd hahah I couldnt stop laughing.. On the performance end the throttle feels much better, more top end pull, and revs more freely.

Having just installed a TopSpeed cat back I couldn't imagine how loud it would be with test pipes. My plan to put in HFC's is on hold right now because of how loud it is with the stockers. Wow!

I just did midnight run nyc 2012 and I got a number of complements on my set up.. When we were in the lincoln tunnel I was side by side with another member on the meet in his f430 and my exhaust completly blocked out the sound of his car it was unreal how insane this car sounded in that tunnel!!!
