Ground clearance is not an issue. My design for the G37 has been out for over a year and they are lower!

I will have to get an exact measurement but they are over 6 inches off of the ground.

As far as the Berk comment, I will just laugh at that :icon18:we have seemed to figure it out!!!

Must be the camera angle then - I noticed when the car took off, there were some dips towards the end of the run, it looked like if there was a stiff enough bump they'd scrape.

If it's 6", I can't imagine that much suspension travel...assuming stock ride height/stock suspension.

Ok so any idea if this will actually be legal in cali? I would hate to buy this and have to sell it cus some cop thinks its too loud ... specifically - is there an EO number?

Hi Tony,

Thanks for the info. It would also be helpful to have your assessment on how low the lowest part of your exhaust is in relation to existing structures in the car, meaning if you could tell us "It's X.X" higher than the bottom of the differential" or something of that sort, it would really help!

Thanks again, great thread and product.

The lowest point is the bottom of the mufflers. As far as everything in front of that, it is high enoguh to not see if you were looking under the car from the side. In relation to our old Intimidator with the Magnaflow style X Pipe canister, this one is miles higher.

As far as I know, any changes from the OEM exhaust is not legal in California.

How much lower does it sit compared to any part of the OEM exhaust?

Or, better question, how much lower does it sit compared to the bottom of the car (body)?

Is it lower than the chin spoiler?

California has a loop hole. One law states an exhaust system needs to be under a certain DB level. Another law states you may not modify exhaust at all.

Most cops will leave you alone and it all depends on how you are acting with your car. Remember there is a time and place for everything.

But to answer your question, no there is no CARB EO number...

Also, I'm unsure if it's appropriate to ask, or if someone already has, but what's the spread on pricing / options?

PM me if inappropriate...

Thanks Tony. What I meant was how low/high it was in relation to something that was already in the car, so someone without this exhaust can go to the garage and check to see where your exhaust would be.

That sounds awesome! But I think it's a lot louder than most would want their exhaust to be.

Is there even an "exhaust" there? Sounds about like what you'd hear with the cats removed, and nothing else hooked up - lol...

And more money than people are willing to pay for an exhaust :tiphat:
