It is lower than other exhausts, but it is just fine, even when lowered providing the driver understands to take bumps and high angle roads properly...

Anybody in the Maryland, Virginia, DC area with the FIE or will be hanging out for Z's and coffee on Saturday? I'd love to hear this system in person. The videos are great, but there is nothing like hearing it live.

Thanks,

V

Mine mas installed today, and all I can say is that it I way louder and throatier than in person than any of the vids that are out there. I have seen them all by the way. Also remember that I have the test pipes. The system is downright amazing though, and the test pipes have definitly given it a slight torque increase.

Small drops will be ok but slam it with coilovers and you will be hitting ur mufflers pretty often.
:P

I do. I scraped them once. The reason? I took the speed bump at a slight angle as I was turning into it. Don't do this. Take it head on driving real slow to avoid hitting the cans. I am dropped 1" in the rear. If you take them head on you will never scrape.

Rest. test pipes or non - rest.? Is your CBE 12" rest. or 18" rest. or non? just curious.

I may be able to make it this weekend. I have the FI CBE 18", stock cats (for the time being, planning on getting Berks eventually). Hopefully I'll see you guys there.

Speed bumps head on and with both tires on the bump, unless you can drive around it completely. The angled approach is best for ramps, e.g. steeply sloped driveway or parking lot entrances. The more angle the better.
