My guess is Airbag Suspension so you can raise it when you get to a bump...

That is illegal over here. the only cars that are allowed Air adjustable suspension are the ones that have it stock or option.

so I cant get that.

um there is steel underneath the carbon fiber you know.

its not like the cans are made out of pure CF :roflpuke2:

I know, a piece of my CF broke off.

Getting HFC's won't void your warranty on the drivetrain since it doesn't directly impact the functioning of your drivetrain. But worst comes to worst, you just go by a shop and have them swap the HFC's for your stock cats while they work on it, then after they give it back, get your HFC's swapped back in. Hell, you could even do it yourself in the driveway.

pretty much nothing, the only thing that I know that you can do without a problem is a better intake. BUT it depends on the guy at the checkup place if he is feeling like an ******* then he can redcard you for it.

rims are fine too except when you over do it. they have a list of the maximum and minimum rim size the car must have.

bodykit is another thing that depends on the guy checking your car. if he is an ******* he can ask for the certificate so he knows that europe/belgium has approved that kit. but most of the time they don't make a problem out of it unless it widens the car.

tinted windows are hard to go through if they think its too dark.

no seriously it depends on the guy as far as I know there is no actual law that says you cant tint your windows below a certain percentage.

if a cop think its too dark, your ******.
if a dude from the checkup thinks its too dark, your ******.
if the dude from the checkup thinks its ok but the cop thinks its too dark, your ******.

exhaust is technically illegal, the only ones you can get are the ones have been certified for use in europe. so my fast intentions exhaust is illegal :roflpuke2:

HFC or anything like the sort are illegal.

engine swap = instant red card

adding turbo or SC to NA car = instant red card

except for say cars that already have a turbo because they are too stupid to know the turbo has been swapped.

and so on.

its a pretty shitty place if you want to mod cars.

I just discovered that I managed to put a nasty scratch/dent my cans at some point last season. :(

I think I may have done it on a track with a large hump but I am not sure... I sure don't remember ever bottoming out like that. This was the best of the pictures I took but both cans have nasty dents. How do you lowered guys do it?

Wow, that is God awful. I thought California was bad! I wonder why the government decided on such strict regulation, I used to ride a 50cc KTM to go to and from school (St Johns in Waterloo) and put on a new exhaust can but that was even illegal. :ugh2:

Yikes, that almost looks like you might have reversed into something or hit it on a speed bump. That doesn't look like you bottomed out carrying speed though.

Vegitto-kun 03-19-2011 07:38 PM

they restrict it to "protect" us.

lol I thought hey why don't I record a cold start

The only protection I think Belgium needs is from unions and the Vlaams Belang. ;)

Hmm.. Good point. I'm going to have to look at it again more closely. I can't imagine what it could have hit.

It was a pleasure to meet you on Friday. Thank you for the business! I look forward to getting your system installed for you soon enough...

ouch. Are you lowered at all? I managed to snag a speed bump a few weeks ago, but it was due to taking a speed bump at an angle and not crawling over it. Always take them head on and crawl over them and you should be fine. I am hoping FI can try to redesign the cans so they don't sit so low...
