Tommy - if you're willing to drive to NJ (Kenilworth), there's a place called AZP installs. They usually specialize in WRXs, but they did my Stillen intake and spring install and the guys are great to work with. They will be doing my FI exhaust install when it comes in.

If you're interested - contact Mike, his email address is paisan@azpinstalls.com.

dont mean to barge in, but where in kenilworth? Im about 20 minutes from there and might want a pro to install my goodies.. thanks!

For what its worth, I know AZP from WAY back (with my scoobie), and I can vouch for them. Good honest guys who do take pride in what they do!

They'll know who you are talking about if you mention DannyGT.

Hey, I think the address is 725 Fairfield Ave. You can call Mike at this # 917.596.3354. I'm supposed to go this Sat. to get my FI exhaust installed.

DannyGT! Long time no talk. Glad to see your car is coming along. You have to pay a visit to the new shop area one of these days. :)

See you sat Sanjay!

It is good to know that they are reputable! After all, I am sending his exhaust system there.

I do not know what their hourly labor rate is, but we charge $80.00 an hour and at the most it takes just over 1 hour to do the install.

XwChriswX 01-25-2010 04:07 PM

So basically $100 for install would be a good estimate?

Is that time for just the exhaust or exhaust + LTH?

G37Sam 01-25-2010 04:34 PM

LOL LTH takes like a whole day of installation, unless you enslave people to do the install don't expect to pay $100 for the install

Well I don't know?! LoL I was just asking so I know how much it's gonna cost for Parts + Install. So I don't show up at Tony's with not enough $$$ lol

Yep, LTH installs are estimated at 5-6 hours usually by themselves. A lot of little things and tight places to get into which are just time consuming. I will be having a fun day when my LTH arrive, both those and my exhaust will be going on the same day.

Well that would be the smart way to do it lol. I figure since I'm not savvy on this car yet, I'll be happy letting Tony and his guys put them in for me. I figure I'll make a weekend trip out of it. Cause it Can be something done in a day right?
