R2C Intake DynoJet

I am not aware of any 370Z dynos with an R2C intake. When I bought them earlier this year, all I could find in my research was G37, which at least is the same motor. My car is completely stock except for these intakes. I'm sorry I don't have a stock comparison dyno - I did not have the time to do a swap. So I understand that these are only so useful given the variation among dynos. I have asked the guys if they have past data of a bone stock 370Z, so if I get anything, I will update this post.

Thanks to NKP Racing for their assistance :tiphat:

Here's an iPhone video of the first run and picture of the results page.

Is it just me or is this pic upside down? My computers show it right side up but my phone shows upside down. :wtf:

Is one up and one down now? Weird thing is they are backward between my iphone and computers. Computer shows top up and bottom down; iPhone shows top one upside down and bottom one correct... w/e...

It is upside down. This is encouraging, I have the same intake on my car, but have yet to dyno it stock or with intake.

That intake seems to have added some "growl" too.

SA370 10-21-2012 11:34 AM

It does add a growl, love the sound on mine!

Yes, it absolutely does. I had no idea how it was going to sound when I bought it. Basically it is stock until you get on it. She starts purring with a good bit of throttle at 4K RPMS, and in the power band, she really gets growling.

The R2Cs make a great addition to ART Pipes and FI exhaust too. :P

mmmmm.... FI :yum:

CBE will be next after I do some cosmetic touches while I save up. FI is definitely #1 on the list right now, though I am considering several.

Thanks for initiative on getting a dyno of the intakes, James.

If you can get the drf files from the shop and don't mind haring them with me, I can make detailed comparison graphs.

Also please give me details on trans, other mods, etc.

my email is jlitman@mail.usf.edu

Thanks! :tiphat:
