Shorties drone

Anyone have any advice on lowering the drone bc I love the sound but
Not the drone at that 2 and 4 to 5 rpm

:iagree:

one guy over by me did a quad resonator set up. the 2 that came in the "Y" pipe and he added to more to the mid pipe. i believe he has art pipes too so i guess you could say its a sextuple resonated set up....

and a giggity to my own post

but seriously, almost zero drone or rasp what so ever

OP is the rest of your exhaust stock? My best suggestion would be to add 2 more resonators to your midpipes, like Romulus1 has posted. This may help, or cut out your exisiting resonators for premuffler style resonators

Everything is stock, wanting a mid pipe. But have the drone controlled more..maybe dynamat the trunk area. I love the tone but now I want power out of it

the only way to release more power is to upgrade the H pipe, mid pipe and delete the cats, whether you go with HFC, test pipes, or art pipes however this will most likely increase your drone

if you're looking to insulate the interior, I suggest hushmat or this fluid called HNR. great for hard to reach areas. It's basically a thin layer of latex with ceramic spheres, helps with noise reduction and heat insulation

get that free sample from gtmag (vendor on here). They're giving away 10 square feet in exchange for pictures and a review.

you'd still be better off going with the extra resonators.
