no real progress yet. Our production team is a man down so our fabricator has been stuck building stock

I guess the fall chill is starting to hit pretty hard over there?

It should. the only question with the NISMO that was ever a problem was the total length of the system.

EDIT:

Actually it might just be the total length of the rear section, i.e. axleback.

I have a Nismo and I really need this mod. I looked under the car while removing my resonators and dang that pipe is small! I need to know if this will fit the Nismo. There are a lot of Nismo owners begging for a solution to Amuse's $2000 H/X pipe. Please AAM be the one to make this! I will promote it as much as possible if you do!

Yeah the factory piping is pretty atrocious.

yes in theory this set up will fit the nismo rear section, as regular rear section and nismos are interchangeable per a few different post on this forum

header > cat > y pipe > mid section > rear section
header > cat > y pipe > mid section > rear section

my goal is to replace the section above bolded in red with a 2.5" true dual to bolt onto the stock rear section OR AAM short tails

I'm currently working with a forum member to see if our H pipe ALONE will fit onto the amuse rs-silent, designed specifically for nismo 370zs (meaning there are 2 inlets)

It was great talking to you Khoi. You guys are awesome!

johncy2000 10-04-2012 09:47 AM

Any specific timeframe on the H-pipe for the Nismo, Khoi? I'm thinking about picking up the Sunline Racing Hpipe but would have to wait till the end of November to aquire it. Let's get this piece made guys!! :happydance:

we are sending out measurements of our h-pipe to a nismo customer to see if it matches up to his oem h-pipe. According to our production boss he said these h-pipes were designed to be interchangeable

but we just want to cover some bases first and maybe send out a set discounted for someone to test fit since we don't have a nismo z here to test fit it

So I'm wondering why stay with the H configuration vrs the X configuration.
But I'm in for a resonated section for sure.

I have no hissing noise from my car with the h pipe. Plus Nissan made it snow h pipe because it made more power hence the power increase from 332 to 360.
