CBE effect on oil temp

I've noticed with my 2012 since I installed the FI CBE that oil temp runs 10 to 15 degrees lower. Highest it's hit is 210. Installed 2-weeks ago with 3500 miles on the car. Same driving conditions and if anything, it's now even hotter. I suspect it's the decrease in back pressure, thus lower temps back to the engine.

really? maybe its because it is getting hotter because of summer?

Kent.....it runs cooler now. Less back pressure is my rationale.

This makes sense.

First time I've seen this observation. Makes for a great excuse to order a CBE though :)

It's in your head. Obvious theres other factors at play. Temps, idling, gear selection, and just plain out our cars do this.

Understand the factors but the bottom line is, it does run cooler with similar or more sever conditions.
