Anyone used a t-bar to remove the demon bolts? It looks like a very good idea...any common on that?

T-Bar with 3/8" Flexible Ratchet

in my experience, something this long will likely not apply rotational force perpendicular to the bolt axis, stripping the bolt head.

in other words, I don't think it will work because it's harder to keep a longer, angled wrench square with the bolt head. because of that, it will probably slip and strip the head.

I doubt that would work well, for the same reason. The way the bolt points into the engine bay, a long amount of straight extensions and maybe a universal joint will seat the socket perfectly on the bolt. It also helps immensely to have a friend under the car, physically pushing the socket on the bolt so it doesn't slip.

use a 1/2" drive also. the 3/8 extension i used flexed and caused a lil cosmetic accident with my hood. :\
