Nismo got hit..
 

So last Thursday, while I was inside the gym some kid decided to do nascar racing in the parking lot and lost control of his car and ended up hitting mine in the back. Besides other damages, the exhaust also got bent so now I need to decide if I wanna go back to Ark grip which I really love or maybe try something different. Heres the picture of the damage :shakes head:

thanks guys. I just hope everything will line up correctly because the trunk floor pan is little bit crushed in. Will be going to body shop once I get my police report.

Since they will have to pay for the factory nismo exhaust which is $2600, I'm hoping to get some extra cash and spend it on the car for some mods :)

Wow with $2600 you can put a full lth+cbe setup on there. Thats a great loophole and silver lining to this. Otherwise I'd feel completely sad about this. I hate when people drive irresponsibly in parking lots, since there are usually SO many more cars and people, causing harm upon others if you crash, not just yourself and a tree.

Im always scared of that **** happening. Never know what another driver is on, or mood or whatever else can effect them Sorry it happened to you

its crazy something similar happened to me not even a week ago! i got my car hit parked IN FRONT of my house! When i go to get a quote from nissan one of their employees hits my Back bumper! terrible two days, but after speaking to insurance and etc.. looks like this guy is about to get a whole nismo bodykit courtesy of insurance and nissan =]

That totally blows, but I'm glad you caught the kid.

Im thinking going back to ark grip or new DTS system with their HFC. I have CNC hfc right now so Im gonna wait and see once there's more reviews on ARK HFCs. Also want to have extra $$ for intake and uprev tune.
The kid still had provisional license and when he hit my car both of his front air bags deployed so the impact had to be hard. Im just glad I wasnt in the car or even near by at that moment. It couldve been alot worse.

We do have a lot of bad, irresponsible drives around here. I wish the drivers license would be a lot harder to get. At least half of this idiots wouldnt be driving:tup:

I never caught the kid myself. They announced it on the loud speaker inside the gym. When I heard Nissan 370Z Nismo edition my heart stopped. I knew it right away something bad happened

My right can is bent, tip was touching the bumper and burnt part of it :shakes head:

If he has insurance, try and get depreciation value from the accident as well.

I myself haven't gotten any accidents, but a friend had an S4, got rear-ended.... Ended with 3k or so on top of money for repairs from the other persons insurance company for depreciation value since it would show up on car-fax for repairs and such.

Maybe someone else that works directly with insurance can chime in.

Usually when there is an accident it shows up on the history report of the car. When I'm buying a car and i see that it's been in an accident (not total loss) I wouldn't pay as much. I feel dealers would be the same way so you need to fight the insurance company to give you more to account for the decreased value

thanks for the info guys. I did not know anything about something like that existed. I asked my insurance agent and he was aware of it but never had to deal with it. He said to talk to the adjuster once he comes to look at my car. So will see what happens.
