Got the new exhaust installed and couldn't be any happier with the result. Did my 2 full warm up/cool down break-in cycles. Sound is awesome! With the 18" resonators, I don't even notice any discernible drone cruising at (and over) interstate speeds. When you get on it the rumble just lights up. "Seat of the pants" feel is that it feels more powerful too. Thanks Kevin & Tony. Well worth the wait! Santa came early!

Really liking the carbon on blue combo, it looks awesome! We are glad to hear you are enjoying the system. Let us know if you have any questions, or need anything moving forward.

Thanks.

Be patient and think how good it will sound in those beautiful Virginia hills.

It really is very nicely crafted. Friday will be a good day....

The Whit 01-23-2018 11:03 PM

Well packaged too......

Did the install today. Nice thing about good equipment is if you do good, clean work the end product is so satisfying to look at.

The throttle response is what I have been looking for. Stillen Gen 3 up front and the FI
CBE in the back. I reset the ECU, and the car doesn't seem to know what's up yet. I think it needs data.

Thank you FI. Tune next. Seb at Specialty Z has the gig. I love this car.....

If throttle response is what you want, get an Ecutek tune. The combination of the three produce incredible results.

Glad to hear you're enjoying the exhaust system.

Just wait until Seb tunes it for you. Feel free to post your dyno result here.

Enjoy!

To work and back today was 75 miles down from the mountains of San Diego and return. 24.6 avg MPG at 36.4 avg MPH. ECU is getting the hang of it. I feel a heck of a lot of power at the top end that did not feel available before. It certainly roars......

I highly recommend this system. If you are on the fence, better jump.

Installed over the weekend, twas a marvelous journey. You can never believe the hype until you witness it for yourself. Of course i was suspicious, after owning many different exhausts over multiple platforms, but it is the truth! Catback with 12" resonators. Best exhaust i've ever owned, quality made and beautiful sound. Only thing odd to me was the different bolt sizes for installation, and why no METRIC!!!!! Anyways, buy this and you will never look back.

And I'm 1820!
Kevin, you rock!

Resonated HFC with driver and pass wideband bungs
18" resonated with Carbon fiber and stainless tips

ETA mid to late March - will be followed by a ECUTek tune (7AT driven like a manual lol) with ZFever in Tampa FL and Innovative Dual sensor gauge replacing the stock clock pod

With any luck, Kevin et. al. will make it in time for a hella Bday present before March 29!

Yesterday I said:
"To work and back today was 75 miles down from the mountains of San Diego and return. 24.6 avg MPG at 36.4 avg MPH. ECU is getting the hang of it. I feel a heck of a lot of power at the top end that did not feel available before. It certainly roars......"

Day two: when I got to work and shut down, I averaged 42 MPH and 28.3 MPG. 35 miles with hills. Bending oil smell gone now. I had a white souped up Supra come up next to me and started throttle chopping his car to make it backfire. I assume it was because the exhaust looks nice, or sounds nice, or both.

I drive an AT in this car, and the manual downshift with the rev matching is so much more enjoyable now that the engine is sounding through those FI pipes. I keep thinking I am done talking about the install, then I find something else I like about it.

The other cool thing is I am really starting to respect that ECU we have. Every time I throw something at it, it answers the call.

I Love This Car.
