Kevin, big thanks for helping me get the modified hfc's. They are music to my ears with the FI exhaust. Can't imagine a better setup, I'm super happy! Rep for FI!

Go non resonated.its a good loud but not obnoxiously. No drone either.

PM replied John Carlo. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

As for my vote, the non-resonated exhaust with Carbon Mufflers sounds amazing with OEM catalytic converters. The exhaust note is slightly higher pitched and sounds very exotic.

I totally agree! i had a 2014 sport with a non res with cf and it sounded amazing. now i have a 2015 nismo and swapped the stock exhaust over to the fI exhaust as fast as i could. i joked with the salesman about how the stalk exhaust on the nismo sounded like i was driving a prius. not really a joke. my car sounds better then ever and its been almost two years on this exhaust. i'm so glad i went non res. i forgot i'm with stock cats. you'll turn heads wherever you go.

My exhaust showed up Friday; too bad I feel like a dump truck ran me over and I'm coughing up my lungs. Hopefully Sunday I'll feel good enough to install it.

What is the differences for the 18 and 12 resonators?

cooltoy 09-12-2016 11:14 AM

Difference in what?

- They are different length.
- They are different price.
- They are different in sound level

BBQdDude 09-12-2016 12:15 PM

Assuming the 18 on sound level is louder?

NashNismo 09-12-2016 12:18 PM

No 18" would be more quite. No resonator is the loudest, then 12" and then 18".

How do CF mufflers sound different than stainless steel?
