What is the current number exhaust shipped out?

/Angelo350Z/ 06-27-2016 05:06 AM

I damaged my FI mufflers a few months ago so I contacted Kevin and ordered new ones. The replacement stainless steel canisters came in, and man, FI never ceases to impress. Shipping was quick (less than a week all the way to Germany), and packaging was top-notch. The mufflers are so beautiful, and the ones on my car are fully functional, so I just might hold off on installing them . Thanks again FI!

You're patience is appreciated. Both of your orders are on next weeks build list.

For those following along, we are shipping up to #1414 next week.

Thank you all,

- Kevin

What is "CEL" that people have posted after installing the exhaust?

As someone else stated, it stands for "Check Engine Light". If you're just sticking with the catback exhaust, then you shouldn't have to worry about it. The problem comes with when you replace the catalytic converters with either High-Flow Catalytic Converters or Test Pipes.

There are sensors before and after the catalytic converters that measure how well the catalytic converters are filtering the air. When you replace the cats with High-Flow Cats or Test Pipes, they air doesn't get filtered nearly as much (or at all), so the computer thinks something is wrong and triggers the CEL.

Using power tools to remove the old piping without removing the sensors can ruin the sensors, also triggering a CEL.

Ordered the 12 inch resonated. Order arrived today and i immediately installed....

i have HFCs + F.I. CBE and this car has changed. It sounds so much deeper and it is nice and loud. Whats awesome is when i hit the highway at 65 and put on cruise control couldn't hear a bit of drone. At lower speeds with windows down you may, but dear god does this sound glorious.

No video online does this exhausts sound justice.

Just received my Non-Resonated FI CBE in the morning and I have to say.. Fast Intentions knows their stuff and packages their exhausts with care.

Getting the exhaust installed in the morning and am very excited for it. I will be doing a detailed video review (even though video sounds nothing like in person and almost all the videos on youtube are of low quality and awful cameras) and will gladly share with you guys.

CroatCode 07-05-2016 11:55 PM

I have received my exhaust today and I have to comment.. Fast Intentions really packages with care and ensures that the exhaust doesn't get dings or damaged while it's being shipped. Great job

I'll upload a detailed high quality video of the exhaust once it's installed since there are really no good videos on youtube besides maybe 1-3. Note: Exhaust videos will not ever compare to how it sounds like in person.
