hey everyone!

just for anyone currently looking at the amazing FI exhaust I recently made a new vid.

had some slightly decent weather last weekend up in the north.

setup in the vid is all FI. non-res test pipes with non-res cat back with carbon fiber muffler option.

make sure to put in 1080p for best sound quality.

Well after months of researching specs, video clips, reviews, prices, etc., I finally placed my order! I went with the 18" resonators, stainless steel system. Now 3 months of waiting patiently...

And if you haven't seen the updated FI website, check it out. It was very easy to navigate and use, and made ordering a breeze!

You are right, the new website is awesome! I would expect as much from FI, they are a class act!

hi everyone, this is it i want to place an order but holding me back of the CF non reso will be too loud? or the CF 18" will be too quiet? i've watched the videos but couldnt justify if its too loud in person.

there is no such thing as "too loud" lol :tiphat:

CF cans do not affect the volume, just the note.

ItsOmega 02-17-2016 06:49 PM

this slipped my mind. when I got my carbon fiber exhaust installed, the machanic said " the clear coat will fade." is this true??

cooltoy 02-17-2016 07:40 PM

First I have heard of this being an issue. Pretty sure there has not been any cases of CF cans deteriorating in any way.

Go with the 18 inch resonated if you want a smoother, deeper, and throatier tone and if its not loud enough for you get a set of test pipes. If that's not loud enough for you you might want to look into something more extreme like a Tomei system.

I had my CF canisters a little over two years no fading.

Not to worry. We've sold hundreds carbon fiber mufflers over the years with no reports of fading.

I personally had carbon fiber mufflers on my car for almost 3 years. They looked as good as the first day that Tony installed them.

I have 40-50k miles on my cf cans and not one bit of fading or issues. One baby rock chip on the leading edge of the one can but that's it after all this time.
