Got my new exhaust installed, and holly crap what a difference. The sound change is incredible, and a big power boost also. Now the car sounds like it looks, thanks Tony you rock.

Awesome job on this design Tony! I swear it reminds me of a Ferrari.

Even my die hard Hemi friends had to concede this thing sounds bad *** LOL

wait?! it's possible to drive a Z in full auto with a F.I. exhuast?! i forgot my car had regular automatic once my exhaust went on lol

also i have a few hemi friends who are still in awe sometimes when i'm drivin my car. not to mention it's fun to beat SRT8's and GTO's constantly lol

Haha, yeah some of them made fun of me when I bought the Z calling me Fast and Furious and all that jazz. Then i took it to the strip bone stock and beat their times in their SRT8s LOL

Quick question, can someone explain to me the real difference between the F.I. 100 cell HFC vs the 300 cell HFC's. Also any power or sound difference, and any CEL issues on either?

The Dimer 05-29-2012 06:57 PM

200 cells. :p

But seriously, the 100 cells should be less restrictive. I belive the anti-foulers keep the check engine lights at bay regardless of the type.

The 100 cells are probably louder due to less restrictions and the performance gains may be higher with the 100 cells but probably aren't very noticeable compared to the 300 cells.

Great question! Our 100 cell cat is much less restrictive than our 300 cell cat. It is the least restrictive cat that you can use without going to a resonated or straight test pipe. We recommend them in Supercharged applications because they can withstand much more heat and abuse. It will still be crucial to get your air/fuel ratio optimal so you do not destroy them.

The 300 cell cat will most likely blow out in a force inducted application. Now for Turbocharged applications I recommend to get the cat out of the stock location altogether. (For Off Road Use, of course)! :tiphat: This is why we offer it in the lead pipe. By moving it downstream it will take a lot less abuse.

To finish with two points,

1) The 100 cell cat will see a better performance gain because it is less restrictive.

2) You will not get a CEL with any of our parts when installed correctly.

If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Thanks, Tony

The guys at Vivid Racing installed my 18" stainless CBE today...all I can say is WOW! Fit and finish is impeccable, and the exhaust note is to die for. ZERO drone at cruise, but louder across the entire powerband and when you jump on it... !!!!! :)

The guys at Vivid shot some photos of the install, but not sure when or where they will be posted...

THIS is how the Z should have sounded from the factory...

Thanks guys, I have a better understanding of them now. Which F.I. HFC is best to pair with a F.I. CBE with 18" resonaters, or what HFC do people usually pair with this exhaust?

I know that #511 shipped 5/25. Has anyone has anyone else received shipping confirmation? Thanks!

I am here to ease your mind. Your system is the second system set to ship early next week. We should make it right on the last day of your shipping window or worst case the following day.

Your patience is greatly appreciated. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call me directly.

Thank you, Tony

Puma0183 05-30-2012 07:58 PM

Thanks Tony, I know that you must be tired of all of us always asking the same questions. But we also know that to get the best we needed to wait a little. BUT IT'S WORTH IT!!! Thank you for the amazing costumer service you are giving us!
