[QUOTE=XwChriswX;2062743]Anyone with LTH's will tell you they are so worth it. Granted they aren't as cheap as HFC's or TP's, but cost doesn't really matter in the end to those who enjoy the sound and boost in low end after tunes.

i am just new with mods, just learning with techs.. my question is, is long tube headers has the cat converter with it? or you dont need to have HFC or TP be changed?

thanks!

With LTH's they will replace the stock exhaust manifolds and the stock cats. LTH's will not come with HFC's. You will have an Open exhaust system.

Yes it would, because the LTH's are taking the place of the Cats, it would be similar as if you were running test pipes.

Correct, you will not pass emissions tests with LTH's if they do a sniffer test.

No, LTH's are Non-Resonated.

"Loud" is subjective. I have them with the 18" Res CBE with SS cans, and I couldn't be happier. It's a good balance.

nice.. interesting! what state are you from sir? no problems with emission laws at all? or can you cheat the test? :) or lax implementation in your area?

bottom-line, you are happy with your set up..

I originally was in AZ which did not require smog testing at all, and now am in PA. The county that I'm in does not require sniffer tests, and the shop that I go to for inspection builds dragsters so they understand modding and basically, if it's safe, it passes.

Yes, I am very happy with my setup.

I thought FI made a HFC which could be installed below there LTH, similar to what Motordyne does with there mid pipe? Maybe its no longer available.

It's available, I just don't have it up as an option on the website. We use 150 cell Mil Spec cats. Our website is getting a face lift over the next month or so. In the meantime, I will try to post some pictures here.

Thanks, Tony

You really need to talk more about the 3 X pipe options not only on the first page, but on the web site also! so people do not have to dig through a 100+ page thread.

for example.
"The X Pipe has 3 options. Non Resonated, 12" Resonators or 18" Resonators. The resonators are strictly noise canceling devices. They DO NOT hinder performance at all. They are primarily designed to cut down interior noise resonance AKA "Drone"! The longer the resonator, the quieter the interior noise."

I believe you left out a very important part to this. is it fair to say the longer the resonator not alone does it quite down drone/interior noise but also exterior noise ???? beucase if thats the case its VERY important you put that in the details other wise it can be very mis leading.

It is ironic that you posted here. I literally just got finished sending you a pm about this information.

I look forward to hearing back from you.

Thanks, Tony
