Those are some tall filters!

I'm assuming you'll be offering polished aluminum. All your photos (to me) make it appear that the piping/tubing is a satin/brushed finish. Then again these are mostly development photos, and greasy automotive-working hands don't exactly lend to a clean, shiny finish!

Thats just brushed aluminum which is what we'll offer them in

When will they be available for purchase?

Dare I say we need dynos to compare to the Rev 2? Curious if they are smoother in the lower RPMs.

lemon-fresh 07-20-2012 02:37 PM

dynos would be nice (as always)...

Ni55anPat 07-20-2012 03:02 PM

I wish these manufactures would post everything at once....pictures, dyno, available date and cost. Saves from all the BS. SORRY for the rant. :p. intakes. Look great

lemon-fresh 07-20-2012 04:46 PM

they wanna build HYPE.

Ni55anPat 07-20-2012 06:35 PM

Hype? I'll go buy another intake :D

Will these fit a Nismo and will the instructions actually address the Nismo installation.

Also just a recommendation but maybe including a paper template for the "trimming" would be a good idea, that way the installer doesn't have to guess at how much to actually trim.

No you wont Pat you dont even have a Z anymore :)

agree on non-oiled filters. Its too easy for most people to over oil them and then mess up the MAF. Creates an avenue for people to bad-mouth the product when its user error. Need to remove as much possibility of user error....

I've a completey stock 2012 Z. If you need a bone stock ride to test these on, I'd be willing to drive up from Va and take some video, dyno and pictures of the install if you're willing to give me a discount on the parts and tune? Hey, never hurts to ask right? Mine is a Daily Driver, 600 miles a week, so if you want to test these out for the long haul, let me know. Nothing like helping out a Gulf War Vet from time to time?

Will there be any chance in Ordering a set to get them Powdercoated? And will the Black silicone connectors be the only colors offered?

Just asking purely for aesthetic ideas... The kit looks great, really liking the single pipes with as little cutting as necessary.

I'm guessing these filters will need the same cleaning necessary for the K&N Drop ins, every 3-5k?
