New CNT Install
Installed a CNT exhaust yesterday I bought a while back from a member here on the forum.
It fit like a glove, install was easy without any problems, also installed new polyurethane hangers. Ran the car last night a bit, nicer lower tone, not too loud, just right for my taste. I'm really happy with the new exhaust... :hello: http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/p...xhaust/CNT.jpg http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/p...aust/CNT-1.jpg http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/p...aust/CNT-2.jpg http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/p...ust/CNT-2a.jpg http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/p...ust/CNT-2b.jpg http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/p...aust/CNT-3.jpg |

Glad everything came out okay. Exhaust looks really clean.

I did the same yesterday. Pleasantly surprised with both the deep tone (paired with ART pipes) and quiet cruising. Had to wrap the side where it gets too close to the rear sway but that's fine. Zero rasp.
For the price, it's a great sounding and looking exhaust. |
bingo. nice to see a thread where people arent having trouble with this exhaust. it really is a good system

Remove the sheild of the emissions canister or it will rattle eventually. Otherwise I like the system.

I Noticed this metal sound intermittently, in happens in two situation 1) In 1st gear I make a bad shift ( it makes the sound quickly and go away ) It sounds like some metal is hitting each other? 2) @ high way cruising speed, possibly at a bit of incline, around 5th/6th gear, if i let off the gas, it makes the sound again, constantly Do you think this is the sway bar issue? My car is not lowered. |
