AAM True Dual 2.5 Plus Test Pipes

Hey ya'll,

So I've had the AAM True Dual 2.5 exhaust for awhile now and I'm loving it. I'm considering adding the AAM test pipes but I really want to get a feel for the sound; noise level, rasp and/or growl.

I can't find anything on YouTube or Vimeo; everyone seems to have gone with Berk or one of the other brands, so I'm asking if anyone has gone with this set-up, and if you have...if you can point me to a video, or post one, or at the least sound off with your impressions.

To whit: I love noise, I love sound. Loud is fine with me, but I don't want an annoying rasp. I want a growl, nice, deep and throaty.

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance

Nobody has the AAM test pipes with the exhaust? Come on; someone must have gone with this brand.

i mean a tp is a tp if its unresonated. so if they are running straight thru tp's on the vid u watched, chances are thats what your will sound like

I have AAM HFCs with my AAM Intakes and 2.5inch CBE. Had it since 2009. Absolutely love it!

AAM Competition test pipes

I have the AAM test pipes installed. Raspy, but I don't mind.
Also, I had to cut off the left side test pipe O2 bung to be able to install it.
See this thread for pix.
Like I said in the linked thread, I was planning to chop off the bungs any way though, so no big deal to me.

TP's will most likely be raspy unless resonated. RTP's or ART pipes will definitely help keep the rasp away.
