Who has Meisterschaft Exhaust? If yes, Answer my questions please!!!

Hello Z Members!

i'ven seen the video and loved the sound. But I also hear other

complains that It is so loud that makes ur ears bleed, gets you headache,

and can't even drive around if you live in quite neighborhood

because its too loud.

Also I've checked out VIVIDRACING.com + Meisterschaft's website

and want to know why vivid is more cheaper than main

website?

BUT PLEASE!@# Someone ANSWER MY FOLLOWING QUESTIONS BELOW

It would be Great!!!!

1. I know it's loud but can you drive around in the neighborhood not waking them up?

2. does It does not sound like ferrari? It does to me from the video but in reality, I haven't heard of it

3. I do listen to rap or R&B and volumn up between 15 to 20 (not max) Does it pass those limit?

I am really really considering to buy it but I would like to know better before i regret it next day. All i care about is Awsome Sound and Don't want to be an *** to neighborhood or seening in pain a person sitting next to me cause of loudness or even myself lol
But Thanks for reading my thread! drive safe and you have beautiful day!!!

1. Yes, stay under 3k RPM and it's fine, also accelerate normally.

2. It definitely sounds exotic, but that's the point right? I've never heard a ferrari in person so I can't say.

3. You can only hear the exhaust in the car, with music on, if you are really ripping it.

It's really not that bad. Listen to those vids again and see how loud the background is. Passing cars, birds, the wind, etc. Then you can kind of gauge how loud it really is. If you drive the car normally you will easily be under decibel laws. I was worried about this too, but I can say it's not as bad as the videos make it out to be. It can be at very high RPM's, but most of the time it isn't. I live on a street with a daycare center and drive real slow passed there. They haven't complained yet. In fact, most of my neighbors compliment my car. Just drive cool where you live and it'll be fine ;)

my friends meisterschaft exhaust, IT IS LOUD!

at 0:48 there is lightning, it sounds cool you see the flash before the noise

red6spd 04-19-2012 08:09 AM

You forgot the question of does it add power? Cause I hear it does not. Just saying.

Gauge 04-19-2012 08:10 AM

I'm working on that one red. Getting a dyno here soon. Should be next few weeks hopefully.

red6spd 04-19-2012 08:13 AM

Hope it adds some decent power cause I love the sound but because of lack of dyno sheets and rumors of no power gains I walked away.

I installed it myself. If your car doesn't have high miles then it shouldn't be an expensive install. My install took under an hour. Don't let them rip you off. I wouldn't pay more than 50-60 bucks to have it installed.

The muffler section fits on the 370Z stock mid pipe I'm pretty sure. The mid pipe and front pipe need to be bought together though, as they meet in the middle with a larger pipe than stock. The front pipe fits to your stock cats though, so this is good.

TLDR: you can buy the muffler seperate without any problems, you need to buy the front and mid pipe together to avoid problems.

As far as fitment goes, no modification of the car itself is necessary. It slaps right on to the stock hangers perfectly. Not cutting or anything. The engineering is fantastic TBH.

That thunder/lighting was effen loud. I am still waiting for my Meisterschaft Exhaust which I ordered from GT Haus last week. I ordered all three section & it should arrive in the middle to the end of May.

The sound of the exhaust does sound exotic & sexy as hell. I do agree that it does have the Ferrari & Lamborghini sound to it. With that exhaust people would be like WTF is this. This is a 370Z & is suppose to have a V6, but this sounds like a V8 or something.

I doubt it would be loud if you keep the rpm's 3k & under, but if you go balls to the wall it will be extremely loud. You might get a headache if you constantly go past 3k or 4k rpm's & always want to redline the SOB in whatever gear you are in.

In my personal opinion this is the best sounding exhaust to get for the 370Z. You are going to pay an effen premium for it, but your Z is not going to sound like any other Z around either. Like they say you have to pay to play.

Not sure how true this is, but I have heard that if you went with all three sections of the Meisterschaft Exhaust that you will get 20-30 hp.

I thought I would chime in on this from a somewhat different cars perspective. I am the first G37 sedan(I actually own a G37x) with their setup(all 3 sections) and I drive my car daily. My other car became a flood victim in last years hurricane and I still haven't bought a second one. From my experience with it, you cannot have high flow cats or test pipes with it on, trust me or ur ears will bleed. Knowing that with the G37x it comes in auto with the automanual setup. I cannot knowingly drive my car in my neighborhood in auto anymore because going from the first gear to second with it is insanely loud. When I drive in automanual, I cannot have this go over 3.5k or it gets really loud also. On the highway it is a different story, it quiets down a lot. Compared to my friend who has the Meisterschaft on is C300 mine is much louder. The guys over at Akuma actually compared the loudness to the one they use on one of their track GTR's. I've had it on for about 1000 miles so far and I have scared the **** out people with it. I suggest the setup if you dont daily your car, but if you do def not. I know for my future plans I can't keep this setup and have already contacted Amuse into making a system for my car.

Just noticed that the OP is from NJ. Hope you're not living in a town where cops like to harass you for anything, cause it will get you pulled over.
