who has shorty headers?

Looking at F.I. products for exhaust system but they only have long tube headers, I am headed to Hawaii where emissions are not a problem, however at some point I will be back in the states, Maryland most likely, where emissions are done and will want the option to swap in stock/high flow cats for the (resonated) test pipes I will be using in Hawaii. Who else besides Stillen offers shorty headers? Also with the F.I. cat back exhaust, would you guys recommend straight test pipes or resonated test pipes? I do not want the car to be obnoxiously loud or to drone.

From all the reading I did before going with LTH's, all I saw was that shorty headers don't provide much in terms of gains as the stock headers are pretty good. It's the cats that are the big restriction on the our Z's. If LTH's are definitely out then I'd just go with some test pipes and a FI CBE. Just give Tony at FI a call and let him know what you're goals are and he'll lay out what your options are.

Hmmm. Yeah since LTH would not allow me to reinstall a cat and if the shorty headers are not much better i guess i'll skip them and save myself the hassle.

You can have cats built into your exhaust if you fo F.I. Or go my route and get the XYZ Y pipe from Motordyne. Then you can run straight, resonated, or cats.
