aFe is proud to introduce a new Takeda Attack Cold Air Intake System for the Nissan 370Z 09-12 V6-3.7L. In recent testing this Takeda "Attack" cold air intake produced 15 horsepower and 16 lbs. x ft. torque, while outflowing the factory intake by 35%. The placement of the unique single air filter specifically designed to fit flawlessly in the area in front of the radiator guarantees a supply of cool, high pressure fresh air for maximum power gains. This Takeda performance air intake system uses a unique dual flange filter design engineered to maximize surface area and flow.

Not sure about the design. But it looks like you don't have to trim the rad support...

Interesting filter design, to say the least.

Looks like you have to extend the MAF sensor wires closer to the TB as well.

So fifteen seconds ago. Get a new wireless program.

Website says it also fits the nismo.

Hm, I'm assuming this intake sits in the same place the Stillens do, no? Might be worth a try if the price is right.

???

Does anyone know if the filter has some sort of end cap in the center of the single filter or if it is open straight through? I can't imagine that a straight through filter that is attached to two seperate dynamic vacuum sources from oposing ends would be ideal from a fluidynamics standpoint. Maybe a mechinal engineer that is up on thier fluids could chime in. I have not messed with fluids since college.

KB2 02-13-2012 06:02 PM

there was talk about this intake about 4-6 months ago? its been out for the g37 for sometime now. i think it did average on those cars..theres deff other threads on this intake already

alot of guys were saying that with both tubes pulling air from one big filter it creates a stronger "vaccum effect"

im guessing its just as good as the g3's perhaps better since you dont need to cut or modify anything!

Interesting. Would like to see independent dynos on this product. The thought of having to remove the bumper cover to clean / replace the filter does not excite me, but if the gains are substantial ...

http://www.the370z.com/intake-exhaus...da-intake.html

thats the other thread.

it starts off with everyone hating on it haha.

but i gives some insight and thoughts on it,also it wasnt released for the z yet when that thread was started. so i guess its possible that it COULD perform better...?
