Status Elite?
 

Hey all, I have a set of Status Elite intakes coming in the mail.

I've been searching around, and I cant really find any trace of the company. Does anyone know what happened to them>?

i believe they are out of business? im not 100% sure though... their intakes are LOUD...

So, I managed to get ahold of the owner of Status Elite. He says they're still in business, but they're stick mainly to custom projects.

I got the intake (and I love it), but it was missing the power steering fluid relocation bracket necessary to prevent rubbing.

So he was nice enough to ship one out to me (for free) along with a tshirt and some vinyl!! I already love the intakes, and the fit and finish is superb

:tup: Gotta love companies that look after their customers!

Holy Hot Air! If they are going to do custom intakes they should have included custom heatshields.

lol they sound great and I havent noticed any issues yet. ill post up if i do tho

I don't you'll see any issues, you might not get any real gains though. Short Ram Intakes are forced to suck up the hot air in the engine compartment while you're driving around with the hood closed and we all know how the VQ37 is with heat :(
