I have F.I. exhaust with 18" resonators and ART pipes and my set-up now that it's broken in, isn't very loud at all.

I have the FI 18" + Berk HFCs + Motordyne M370 combo, now thanks to B1ades , I am keeping my eyes opened for the Stillen G3. Per B1ades, you wouldn't hear the G3 over the exhaust from inside but you do hear the air being sucked in from outside the car.

You mentioned something about loudness, you can always start with the Nissan exhaust, then get the berks, then G3 and go from there. This is close to what you should expect with the FI exhaust, Berks + Stillen G3

You know I can't decide on the 370 or the pulleys... I hear the pulleys can cause leaking oil and such if they aren't put on just right and i'm talking to Tony about the m370 a little more to see if that's a future mod I wanted to add.

Did you do all of your mods at once or did you add the M370 later? If so, how did it feel?

birdmanx1 10-03-2011 02:35 PM

Get both, the pulleys are cheap. I thoroughly went through all the reviews about the pulleys, the people who had issues with them kept coming back to bad installs. As soon as the pulleys were installed, the throttle response improved and the car felt preppier.

The M370 gave a deeper sound to the engine and serious torque & power in the midrange. I did the mods serially. The car sounds amazing and pulls hard (I easily spin the tires even with VDC on).

Actually, I can hear my G3's from inside my car over the sound of the exhaust. I guess it depends on how loud your exhaust setup is.

Ah, thx for clarifying Shahid ;)

I did, but I was told it wouldn't really do much.

My G3s arrive tomorrow, has anyone in the Mid-Atlantic area had a good tune that they swear by? Better yet, good dyno results...I want my car to run at optimal levels through all rev bands.
