Ok cool...wanted to make sure I wasn't "hearing" things lol. I guess that's one way to wake up the neighborhood!!

Hey Justin, I just noticed you have Swift springs. How do you like them?

Anyone getting Check engine lights with the Berks HFC installs?

It seems some throw the code and some dont... Always loved Berks top notch quality!!

^^im curious myself

I never got a CEL when I had the Berk HFC. I did switch to the CNT RTP before I went FI and I did get one even though those have the bung extenders. I just put some steel wool in the bung and didn't have a problem after that.
Now I have down pipes and FI and no CEL now either.

BTW: I loved the sound of the Berk combo. It gives the car a very exotic sound. While I love my TT Z, I do miss that sound sometimes. I think there will be a 3" exhaust in my future. :D
I wish Berk made one.

I've had my berk's HFC installed for about 2k miles now, and still using the stock nismo exhaust.. No CEL's to date.

sorry to resurrect an old thread but is this still the way the berk exhausts are? looks like the hangers are barely even long enough to fit through the rubber grommets when the whole thing is at rest... what happens when you hit a bump?

when i got an APR exhaust for my GTI the exhaust hangers on it were exactly as you see the oem hangers are on the Z.... pointed with a wider section to catch and prevent it from sliding off. seems like a poor choice in cost savings no?

The hangers barely go through the hangers but they haven't moved since I got everything worked out. No issues what so ever.
