Ya, I just did this set up about 2 weeks ago. It's gonna cost about $80-100 to have the shop remove them. Under light acceleration, it's quiet like the stock. Under normal acceleration, it's got a higher and louder tone. Under hard accceleration, it's loud (I'd say about 1.3x louder than the stock WOT). There is no drone. It sounds a little raspy. There will be very minimal horsepower gain (< 2 hp). If you want a cheap setup, with a slightly higher and louder tone, without disrupting airflow like the washer mod, I say go for it. I have a video, but I've been too lazy to upload it. Look up the G37 coupe (it has to be the coupe) with no resonators on youtube for a similar sound. It's not quite like that since they have a different muffler, but it will give you an idea.

Another cheap alternative is to buy a G37 coupe exhaust (one that had the muffler rattle issue fixed). If you want to know how much hacking is required for that, PM me. I'll let you know when it gets hacked and put on my car this weekend.

Here's a link to the video of the stock exhaust without resonators.
