Review on the Stillen G2 intake?

Just wondering if anyone has any reviews on this intake? I didnt want to get the G3 because I would have to take my front bumper off. Thanks.

There is a DIY to take off the front bumper step by step. It is pretty easy.

I would think the benefits of the G3 kit would be pretty good since its a cold air system. We never really recommend our customers the ram intakes because many of them don't really benefit performance as much since it sucks up air from the hot engine bay.

No and NO. I am a private security contractor for DOD. Mercenary is such a nasty term people use for us. :shakes head:

Get the g3's man best bang for buck.

I didn't want to have to take my bumper off either... i've sort of come to grips with the fact that i'm going to have to to get the max amount of power I want.

You can look at the R2C intakes however, they are VERY nice and you don't have to take your bumper off... on a G37 on the dyno they are neck and neck with the G3's and in the mid range even produce more power. I happen to believe that the G37 would produce more power because the top of the bumper is very open where with the 370z it's open down bottom. Just my opinion though.

How about HPS tubes + K&N drop-ins?

Nice set-up for less money, but on the dyno it just doesn't show the power that the G3's produce if that's what a person is looking for.

I have the Gen II's and they work fine. No dyno, but the sound from the engine bay is awesome! The Gen II's come with filter shrouds that mimic the stock air box and draw cold air from the front of the car. Not as good as the Gen III's but good enough to notice the difference.
Bottom line: Gen II's are cheaper and easier to install, Gen III's are better performers
