About to buy stillen gen 3 intake, a few questions.
 

Hey all, im about to purchase stillen gen 3 intakes and was wondering if there were any suggestions as to what store to buy from. Whats the cheapest you've found? Also, is there any other product out there that is better as far as gains go? Thanks! I did a search on the site, didn't really find any suggestion as to where to buy from.

z1 motorsports. you can get em custom powdercoated from there too.

as for other power adders. i'd say get an ARK Exhaust and some motordyne ART pipes to go with it.

i literally just purchased my Gen 3 intakes earlier today...

I had no idea that Z1 motorsports does powdercoating for the gen3 intake, that's awesome.

Right now if its your first time ordering from Stillen they will give you a 5% discount which puts it right at $500.

My next mod is going to be the gen 3 and I'm really thinking about getting one powdercoated from Z1.

So you got it off the website? Hmmm I talked to Josh on the forum and he said I can get a 5% discount for military discount. Not to mention I am a first time buyer but nothing was said about that.

I would wait to see if stillen is having a 4th of july sale. I think last year if u bought an exhaust they gave u an intake

Military discount eh? Do they need a copy of the DD-214 for that?

well since the sale is only going on for a few more days i suppose that is the answer or you may just have to bring up if any sales are going on for that particular item, yes i talked to josh as well (very helpful mind you), about the intakes, also talked to a woman named Margaret (also VERY helpful) about them for about a week margaret helped with the purchase of mine i made today. i looked on the website, and then imedaitely confirmed the whole thing with her.

she confirmed, yes any first time buyer gets 5percent taken off their purchase, and with current sale going on right now for the intakes (can only speak for the intake since thats all i looked at) regularly priced at 560 something, on sale right now for 525.79 ....and if you include the 5 percent off... i ended up paying 499 for my intakes.

Ya but I am only getting the intake I have my F.I. headers and exhaust being built already.

Not that I know of I just mentioned that I am in Afghanistan at the moment and he said there was a military discount.
