CBE/HFC Louder with A/C On?

Hi, let me once again preface that I am a nub when it comes to auto mechanics. With that said, I recently had an Invidia Gemini and Berk HFC installed. Is it normal for the exhaust note to get louder upon pressing the A/C on button? Thanks.

Yes. When the AC compressor turns on, the ecu kicks the idle up a bit. All cars do this and it is perfectly normal.

Ya I'm in a 6MT and I hate having to shift with the A/C on. It's crazy how fast the RPM falls lol the timing is totally different. I have to keep my foot on the gas a lil bit to keep the RPMs high enuf to shift to the next gear without destroying myself with whiplash lol. :roflpuke2:
