Other goodies to be announced soon from what we have been told as seen in some photos.. but hard to tell as a lot of prototypes don't always make it into production from my experience.

Jim you should just neutral your car into the community, pick up some speed before entering... j/k. Let us know if we can help.

wow truly gorgeous exhaust, looks and sound! i cant wait to hear some clips under load...

Spartan 1771 01-21-2010 09:37 PM

Good looks and a mean note are cool, but what do the HP/Torque gains look like? For almost 3 grand this system better produce a significant gain. If not, then in my opinion, it's no better then all of the millions of crap noise makers kids install for $50 on their old Honda Civics.

Where's the beef? Show Me the money! Dyno chart please!

But on a serious note, nobody has ever posted dyno charts on Saclam's exhaust. It's a luxury exhaust, hardly think you would see significant gains over others such as Amuse, Stillen, etc.

Spartan 1771 01-22-2010 10:42 AM

I've never heard the term "luxury exhaust" before, but I guess that best describes it, unless someone posts a dyno chart to prove differently.

Daishi 01-22-2010 11:19 AM

the exhaust looks nice and all but where the huge fail is where it uses part of the tiny stock exhaust.. thats a huge bottlebeck this exhaust probably produces hardly any gains what so ever. not worth it at all.. F.I FTW

Spartan 1771 01-22-2010 11:42 AM

I agree 100%.

The NISMO S-Tune has a simmilar bottleneck, and they post gains of about 5.5 horsepower. I seriously doubt this exhaust does anything better, if even that.

semtex 01-22-2010 01:29 PM

Guys, one of our fellow forum members actually plunked down for this exhaust. Check out this thread -> http://www.the370z.com/intake-exhaus...am-inside.html

If you guys want dyno results, that's the thread to bump!

i almost thought i saw a backpressure fight start to break out:shakes head:

I cant tell where it uses part of the stock exhaust other than the HFC section. It looked like its a CBE. The only part that might hurt is where it comes into one place for a bit before it seperates again. But I can tell you there is probably no drone due to the extra resonance tubes attached. Why its 3 grand I dont know tho.

Because it's JDM. All JDM stuff is ridiculously expensive. For example, check out this Central 20 oil cooler kit.

Good looking kit, right? But still, it's just an oil cooler. Guess how much? $1550! For an oil cooler!

Or how about this one from AE Performance. Doesn't look much different than the Stillen/Setrab kit, right?

http://370ztune.com/images/product_i...cebc6_W300.jpg

Price: $1100!

Spartan 1771 01-22-2010 03:47 PM

So I read through that other thread and still no Dyno charts. For over 3 grand, I can get a full long tube intake, performance exhaust, an under drive pulley and most likely still have money to spare.

I completely agree with the second part of this statement, but am I the ONLY one that finds this exhaust system to be hideous as hell?!? I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. :shakes head:

I find it to be really weird looking, but honestly, why spend so much time making something look like art work that is installed in a area out of sight? Seems so pointless to me.

Yes it is. $500 bucks for my true 2 1/4" dual exhaust with top speed axle backs installed. It isnt the prettiest exhaust system but does have some bite on the exhaust note. There is some drone tho.... :icon14: but hey Im happy!
