i like the drive by but a little iffy right on start-up

fairladyZ34 06-23-2011 04:17 PM

i think that the video camera maybe be distorting alot of the real sound.

I think alot of the Japanese exhausts tend to be single because many of them do not include the Y pipe in their offerings; our main goal for the X pipe was to help with the sound quality, which worked well for the stainless model, but it looks like we'll have to make some changes to help reduce the sound level on the titanium exhaust. We've been working with different lengths of the pipe before the X to produce better sound and to better promote the scavenging effect. Our main goal right now is to try and mellow out the titanium a little; while the camera does amplify the tinniness of the exhaust a bit, we won't lie, that exhaust is pretty damn loud right now lol

What about adding small resonators on the midpipes?

Yeah, that's actually something we were thinking about. Since the mid-pipes are individual pieces, we could offer a choice of having the resonators or not. Right now we're just making sure we have the clearance to add resonators at that spot.

Yeah, we should have some of our muffler changes done sometime soon. We're in Alpharetta, so it should be a pretty quick drive for you to see the exhaust in person
