Fast Intentions Non Resonated Cat Back Exhaust with Non Resonated Test Pipes

ok guys do you think putting a Fast Intentions Non Resonated Cat Back Exhaust with Non Resonated Test Pipes would be a little bit too loud I'm 16 and I love loud so that's why I am asking :happydance:

It will be very loud as you will basically only have two straight through mufflers in the system. It will also have some rasp which may or may not be a problem, I would recommend at least getting resonated test pipes as this will take a bit of volume away as well as decrease rasp a bit to make it more liveable. It will still be loud when you are on the throttle, trust me.

oh ok thanks

That's what I ordered and should be here June 8th, resonated test pipes and non-resonated exhaust. Hopefully get a vid up because I could not find this combo anywhere, almost everyone gets the12" or 18" resonated exhaust

I'm running that same exact set-up. It is pretty loud but it sounds really good. I get pops gurgles and all kinds of cool sounds coming out the back. It does not even drone that much inside while driving down the road. I just made a 14-15 hour trip from NY to NC for ZDayZ and it was not bad at all, my GF was even able to fall asleep several times during the drive. There is also rasp at around 2500rpm and also at full throttle but it mixes in with the exhaust sound and is really cool.

I strongly suggest resonated test pipes and resonated exhaust. They will still be straight through and VERY loud IMO, but just a bit smoother and more refined sounding. Much better IMO.

If rasp is not a problem for you then it will sound really nice. The rasp in the Z is not like 4cyl fart can rasp, it's more like race cars sound.

Btw you are 16 and own a Z wow.. first car?

I have a customer from San Diego who I recently did an install for. He went with resonated test pipes and a non resonated CBE. In my honest opinion, it had no rasp and sounded great.

I remember what it is like to be young and not have the sound level bother me. If in a few years if you decided you wanted it quieter, we could just put 18" resonators in the x pipe and bring the sound down quite a bit.

That is the beauty of my system, so many options for all different sound levels.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call me directly...

Thank you, Tony

Don't wreck it. Good luck installing the exhaust.
