Yeah I think two per cat are bolts and one is a stud threaded into the hole on the header. Therefore, you just leave the stud there, remove the bolt and then re-use the bolt when bolting the new piece up.
The top of the stud (engine side) I believe has a star fitting so you can unscrew it though. |
Yea I just replaced it all with the supplied bolts being there SS.

My mechanic broke 1 bolt on each side, is it possible to remove the remain broken bolt?

Bump this up! Where can I find replacement for these two demon bolts? Anyone has the size or product number?
And can I reused the other oem bolts off the cats for the art pipes? Got my test pipes 2nd hand and I don't think it came with any hardware  |
I used sprayed some pb blast let soak over night and all the bolts came out
|
From reading this if I can break the bolt head off I can get the cat off? If so, how? I snapped one of awhile ago and dstripped the other, decided to leave the oem cats on but if I'm able to just dremel the heads off to get them off I'll try again.
