Headers

Has anyone used or have any knowledge of these headers? NISSAN 370Z FAIRLADY Z STAINLESS STEEL EXHAUST HEADER | eBay

Very Simple: Do Not Want.

Well Shorty headers have been proven to do nothing for hp. So if you MUST replace the headers do it the right way and get Fast Intentions Long Tube Headers. But even those have mixed reports of not making or even losing power.

Even if you just wanna replace the stock header with a nicer one, go with the Stillens.

:bowrofl: Why would you put something Mitsu on a NISSAN anyways?!

Don't trust your $30k+ car to ebay is all I have to say.

:iagree: With Test Pipes or HFC's I believe as well right?

Paladinjc 04-08-2011 04:41 PM

Sounds like you guys wouldn't even get headers. I am trying to squeeze every last ounce of power out of a N/A.

Thinking I will buy another car with the 10k+ needed for a TT installed and tuned. Maybe a 87 Z31 'My first Z'.

The 2 I saw are both sold.

I have the F.I. Long Tube Headers and CBE and I love it. Just need a few more things before a tune.

I installed Berk test pipes, they Rasp, as you know. I was going to install Motodyne ART pipes I read they increase power.

Do FI long tube produce as much HP and TQ as ART pipes?

I'm not sure what to do

Any test pipe would give you rasp. Hence the Resonators on a CBE, or Resonated Test Pipes.

ART Pipes will help with the rasp, but won't do anything spectacular for performance.

I would venture to say the LT's would be comparible if not better than ART Pipes, but as I don't have the pipes, I can't do a side by side on them.
