Loudest exhaust next to meisterschaft??

What would be the next loudest exhaust under meisterschaft, like what would be as loud as a meisterschaft but not as extreme??

Red__Zed 03-27-2011 02:51 PM

just go with straight pipes.

karotZ 03-27-2011 02:59 PM

Put Stillen race headers, HFC, and non-resonated FI TDX. :roflpuke2:

I have videos of my car running with open headers... holy poop! It was ridiculous!

jnaut 03-27-2011 10:03 PM

if you have a "big set" pull the headers off... plus you save weight to boot

jnaut 03-27-2011 10:12 PM

but seriously prolly F.I long tubes w/ non res cbe.

I have resonated test pipes and 8" custom resonators in the x-pipe on my FI exhaust and it's pretty damn loud, so I couldn't even imagine how loud your setup is.

Test pipes
Y-pipe
Single 3"

I have and love it!

Econ 05-05-2011 01:52 PM

are test pipes much louder the HFC's?

i'm looking to make my ARK a little more noticable

Kingbaby 05-05-2011 02:24 PM

Yes test pipes will be louder but with louder comes rasp!

Honda rasp/embarrassing around 2800-3400rpm.

Fern to the Z 05-05-2011 02:50 PM

what if the test pipes are resonated, will that make it more of a deep sound vs. raspy ricer noise?

Nikon FM 05-05-2011 11:43 PM

I'm an acoustics guy so I get a bit deep on "sound" terms:

In a nutshell:

Do you mean quieter than Meister(sp?) throughout the power band and when you say "quieter" does that mean same spectra shape (sound) just lower levels?

My FI setup has higher lower frequency sound than Meister(sp?) at lower rpms (<3.5k) but then the Meister(sp?) sounds like the end-of-the-world (I like) above 4k rpm and is much much louder (slightly higher frequency energy) than my FI setup.
