Cylindrical mufflers/custom exhaust

Hey guys, figured I would shoot this question over to you since there seems to be a bit more vendors and shops on your forums. I have a G37S coupe, and wanted the Zele exhaust from the 370z.

After going through tons of PM's with shops about buying the exhaust and cutting/customizing a bumper on the G37, the consensus came to the 370z and G37 muffler sections not working and the only part translating between the two cars as the Y-Pipe.

I know knock off's are frowned upon but it looks like my only option to get the look and hopefully the same sound I'm looking for is to have an exhaust custom built in the image of the Zele exhaust, I cannot find someone who actually sells the cylindrical mufflers like those used by Zele,MXP, or even Meistershaft.

Anybody know of any leads I can touch base with to get my project started?

I can't help you, unfortunately, but I'm interested in seeing how this comes out.

Google is your friend but... :hello:

I was always a big Flowmaster fan so:
HP-2 Series - Hushpower Mufflers

Dynomax too:
Dynomax Performance Exhaust | Mufflers | Race Bullet Mufflers

Borla:
XR-1 Sportsman Racing Mufflers - BORLA - The World's Most Winning Exhaust

Magnaflow:

Injen:
Injen Mufflers, Injen High Performance Mufflers

I would suggest Magnaflow, Vibrant, or Burns (I live 5 mins away from them). All are straight through designs, can be had in many different sizes, and are good quality (esp. the Burns, but price reflects this).

Sorry when I said cylindrical I meant the muffler piece, I wish I could find burn titanium oval tips, but my only option for a burnt titanium look is the circular GTR tips that Bullit is using on his White Dragon.

Actually does look like you guys are right, the pictures I kept seeing on the import websites were of the GTR exhaust but they were under the 370z page ie:

After looking some more it does look like the Zele uses a normal style muffler for the 370z but routes the pipes the same way.

Now if only I could find the same tips the Zele uses. I found somewhat of a close match but they aren't rolled like the Zele nor does the quality look to be up there either, but it's worth a try I guess.

Definitely don't have a problem paying, I was about to drop the money on the Zele if it fit. :( No love for the G from Zele on anything but a body kit though.
I love the sound and the look of the Zele it just sucks that there is no application for the G Coupe, like I said I wish I wouldn't have to try to create a knock off of it but I don't really have a choice. :ughdance:

I hear ya...I tried to contact Zele to see if I could buy the titanium tips at least from them or find who supplies them...but that was a no go from them.

I know the piping, mufflers and all that jazz are titanium. Are they full titanium or just titanium coated? Hoping maybe I could have different mounting brackets welded on.
