Gemini with CNT test pipes

Anyone running the gemini exhaust with CNT test pipes? searched and couldnt find any feedback. I already have the invidia exhaust and im just wondering how much of a sound difference the cnt resonated test pipes will make on my car. Thanks for the help!

How about just cruising around town? The car is my daily driver and I just want to make sure it's not obnoxiously loud.

Im uprev'd so the rear O2's are disabled, they have an extension on the test pipe for the secondary O2 so in theory it shouldn't throw a cell.

The glory of UpRev!!!

is there anybody that doesnt have uprev and has the test pipes? im very interested in these pipes but i dont want to throw a cel and also i read the thread about the erz pipes and i dont fully understand what the people were talking about when they put steel wool in the o2 bung. did they mean that extra hole at the end of the pipe?

In terms of construction, the best way to avoid a CEL with a TP or HFC is to have an extended, right angle O2 bung (to prevent the O2 sensor from being in direct contact with exhaust gases that have either passed through a HFC or cat-less TP) as is seen with

ERZ/CNT has the best pricing and members say the quality is good with low incidence of CEL's but the pictures I've seen don't show a right angle bung, though it is extended. In terms of steel wool, you actually shove a ball of tightly packed steel wool down into the O2 sensor bung before you re-attach the O2 sensor to your aftermarket TP/HFC. This is reported to work, but the right angle O2 design of GTM and FI works as well. In addition, if you choose to go the route of short headers +/- TP, you might eventually get a CEL, which can be eliminated with an UpRev tune as stated above. With Long Tube headers you'll need a tune anyway to get the most out of them.

That does sound great! I would have gotten the CNT Test instead of the ERZ HFC if they were out when I purchased. Cheaper, and little more HP.

i went ahead and ordered the cnt rtp's. im going to try the steel wool thing and hopefully it will work. if i get a cel i will just clear it out everytime i guess.
