I love how their coilovers and headers are almost as expensive as their full Amuse Vestito kit lol. Can you understand all the Japanese on their site Andrew?

Oh no, sorry about that. I was just wondering if you could understand most of that site as I tried to use my rudimentary Japanese but failed haha.

Google translate FTW.

It's no wonder there going bankrupt with those prices. Crazy....

Jordo! 03-07-2011 05:54 PM

Shorty headers for 4K, huh?

No wonder some people think a grand for two muffled exit pipes is a steal :icon17:

Umm, I don't know where you heard that but Amuse is most definitely not going bankrupt.

Pricing for the headers is due to the material and the complexity of mandrel bending and intricately welding titanium.

Granted, these aren't for most people, but if you want maximum flow with the maximum amount of weight savings over the heavy, cast, OEM manifolds, then these are the best upgrade option, bar none.

I've been trying to read up on the material they're using, but I haven't found any data. Any ideas? Ti-CuNb, says Europe is all over it, but I would've thought the journals would be out on it by now.

I tried welding titanium in my welding class last week. I made a mess :roflpuke2:

Any dynos -- didn't see any?

Weight savings from OEM headers?

% improvement over less expensive LTH's?

Not trying to be a jerk, just wondering what one can expect to get for 4 grand...?

The STTI is a proprietary alloy owned by the company that produces Amuse's exhausts in Japan; it's a titanium, niobium and copper alloy.

As far as technical data, they haven't said anything official yet, as the official "release date" isn't until the 20th.
