I think your car has the cleanest undercarraige i've ever seen.

Got any soundclips of the double resonated test pipes in cabin and outside? How is it with rasp compared to the plain test pipes.

YouTube - Jade Motorsports Nissan 370Z MXP Test Pipes & Exhaust Dyno i can give you a ride some time during a meet in GA... but interior dB isn't bad at all. me and my gf still have conversation with the radio on in the car without yelling. WOT is a different story though. the rasp comes on a little later around 4k, so i can still daily drive without hearing it. |
Hi Jade,
Def raspy but not nearly as tinny or metallic sounding as normal test pipes. Thanks for the vid! |
Switched from non-resonated test pipes to ERZ high flow cats and am 100% happier. 75% ish of the rasp is gone and the exhaust is the perfect tone.

See on my GTM TP the bung is longer and cuts back away from the exhaust flow. http://i1109.photobucket.com/albums/...lspohn/005.jpg By the way great looking car and exhaust. Also great vid. |

Im attempting to bring life back to this thread. I'm in the market for some test pipes, I dont wanna spend ART pipe money, although Id love to as they look amazing. Looking more around the 2-3 hundred range. Contemplating CNT resonated pipes. I also see the Top Speed pipes are a great deal and they even have the 90° 02 bung. I just worry they are of poop quality. So basically what are you guys running???? What pipes arent giving you tons of rasp??? Will resonated pipes really sound that much better??? Id especially like to hear from CNT, TOP SPEED, INVIDIA & AAM owners. Thanks guys, please comment.
