MXP Exhaust
Hey there, I am currently looking to get a MXP Exhaust to add onto my Berk HFCs but after watching a number of videos and hearing comments from various people, I wanted to see if anyone could help me with some questions I have:
-It is a loud exhaust but is it pretty tame in normal driving when staying out of the throttle? -How much rasp is there? Thanks in advance, appreciate any help you might have! |
There is one for sale in the classified section that has been there for a while. I think the guys user name is Rays.

MXP is good exhaust, I ve heard with TPs..lots of rasps...I have no idea with HFC at all.. Maybe in summer, I will thinking switch it to MXP exhaust with the ERZ HFC

I'm also considering MXP. I can't really tell if there is a lot of rasp just from the video. However, since my Z is not a dd I really don't care if it's loud or has some rasp. I do know Lou @ amp moto has been trying to sell a used set for a while and you might want to talk to him. I think it might be the same set that Rays was trying to sell. Good luck. |
Thanks guys! I have been talking to Ray about his MXP exhaust but he said it was similar in volume to the Meisterschaft exhaust which would be way too loud for me. However everyones definition of loud is different which is why I figured I would ask for more opinions.
I don't mind a little rasp or a fairly loud exhaust but it can't be at Meisterschaft levels haha. |
I heard it on amplified's demo Z when they had it and it was loud. Haven't heard meisterschaft so can't comment. Have you heard the Gemini?

As much as I'd love a set of LTHs, I just can't deal with that kind of a pain in CA when I will eventually need to SMOG the car. swapping on my stock cats is a hell of a lot easier than trying to find a crooked SMOG tester lol. Oh well, I will be figuring out if I am going to make the swap with the FI exhaust this weekend.
