MEGAN CBE & Y PIPE?has anyone installed one on there 370?
 

iam very interested in purchasing a cbe and y pipe from megan for my z,has anyone installed this system?quality?sound?fit?... id like to hear what u think...

I would say spend a little more to get a invidia..great exhaust and sound..

I had it with test pipes, for the price its great, but there are plenty that are alot nicer but cost more. I thought it would be louder than what it was also.

i checked out the invidia exhaust,its nice but not a fan of the titanium tips,iam after single layer tips,i find alot of aftermarket exhaust stick out alot past the rear bumper,its hard to find a system that retains the lines of the car

have you check FI or ARK?

I had ark and loved it, it was louder imo but I did have test pipes. The ark hangs to low for me though.

ya the ark system is nice,iam thinking of running stillen cats with whatever cbe i go with

Have you decide which one u go for?

theres so many exhausts out there,i still got time to choose cuz the winter isent over yet but i still really like the megan cbe and possible stillen cats:confused

the sound from megan racing. I would say is ok..but the quailty...seriously. put more $$ on exhaust aren't harm to you..

ya i know what you mean,tanabe medalion is looking good to,i just want everything to work good together to cuz i plan on installing a stillen supercharger in the near future

If you plan for the supercharger. Definitely....no..MEGAN RACING PIPES AT ALL....AT ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL.... :eekdance:

Well, is not sticking out that bad..maybe .5 inch...

iam just more of a fan of slant cut tips,to many options hah,its making me crazy ha

Are you looking for specific gain in WHP..or sound? or a price range?

everything..sound..whp..looks...money really isent a huge deal but since i plan to get cats and supercharger i am working with a budget

hm..for the supercharger. There will be more to be tunned not only the cats and exhaust..

ya the stillen charger kit comes complete,for this year iam gonna do cats,cbe,drop in k&n filters and get my ecu flashed,then over next winter possiby gona install the supercharger

fast intention cbe is looking good,just not to sure about the 12",18" or no resonator options,looking into to it

Yea..some of the member in Ontario have the FI.. I guess one had a FI 12' resonator.Cant remember who..You should check off at the canada thread..:happydance:

what brand of hfc's did u go with?

I purchased from the ERZ which I heard many of the forum members have that installed and have great feedback on it:happydance:

I am in Ottawa..I order my parts directly from the vendors here..and gets shipped here...

cool,iam in sault ste marie,gotta a few friends in ottawa,fun town,here in the soo theres nobody to get these kinds of parts for my car,onlines my only choice
