Nismo Intake / Exhaust

I am looking for a little better sound than what the stock exhaust has to offer.

I was hoping just to get the Nismo intake and exhaust and keep my warranty safe. I have listened to many videos but was looking for someone opinion that actually has heard it. Think its worth it or should just get something else and void the warranty?

Thanks

An intake and exhaust should not really be voiding your warranty unless they are directly related to whatever issue that may arise. In which case, I would just take them off since they are the most basic bolt-ons with easy installation process.

Also, Nismo does not make an intake for 370z, they have a 350Z HR motor intake which fits our car but the heatshields do not fit, so there for not worth the $400 you're going to pay for it. As far as the Nismo exhaust, again you will pay for an under-performing exhaust.... or rather you are just paying for the name, not than quality or performance... as it does not provide the same hp/tq gains as other aftermarket exhausts in the same or even smaller price range.

Yeah i know they do not have intake but i got a "flyer" when i ordered my car with all the stuff i could add on and it has "Dual Intake Coming Soon" with some pictures. Not sure when soon actually is.

As for the exhaust i do not want to put something else on it and them really try to fight it if something were to go wrong.

If i were to go aftermarket there are so many options i would be forever deciding lol

Hmm interesting, we have not seen any information on 370z Nismo intakes, think you should scan it for other to see if the pictures are indeed of the new intakes.

I see your point, and even though the chances of you having an issue and it being voided because of the exhaust are quite slim, it is still your car and your money. But you will see not a lot of people have the S-tune Nismo exhaust on here, it's not a popular exhaust by any means.

Yeah when i get to i will take a picture of it and post it. I know there are so many options but whats your personal preference on intake and exhaust for the most bang for you buck.

It honestly depends on so many factors. For intake you have to consider the installation and maintenance issues. Stillen G3 intake is a long tube intake that requires cutting a plastic piece bracket behind you front bumper, also you will need to remove the bumper if you need to clean your filters or uninstall intake. The Injen is also long tube, requires no modification but does require you to remove bumper to clean filters or uninstall intake. Then there are short ram intakes, R2C and K&N are the only worthy ones since they have heatshields and require no bumper removal.

I can't even begin with the exhaust option though, you are right that there are many options. So it really all depends on your preference of price, sound, how the exhaust looks.

interesting.

don't seem like true cold air intakes more like those short ram intakes.

intake = stillen gen 3
exhaust = fast intentions

simple as that
