My T1R Prototype exhaust !!!

Hi Guys,

I have been working closely with T1R (Type One Racing) in developing the exhaust for 370Z by letting them to use my car for fitment and dyno testing :)

T1R has been famous in making exhaust for GTR, EVOX, M3, S2000...etc. T1R offers high quality built exhaust with high quality sound and performance.

The T1R exhaust will be sold with Y-pipe, b-pipe and muffler. They come in 63mm (2.48") x2 joint to 76.3mm (3") splitted 63mm (2.48") x 2.

Why does my gut feeling say "droner?"

wheee! 02-09-2011 01:32 PM

Your Y pipe to resonation chambers looks like a serious choke point... Are they the same diameter pipe at the fittings??

AJ PwR 02-09-2011 01:32 PM

Unfortunately no drone lol

Sorry I am a bit of confused about your question.

The b-pipe "A" shape starts with a 76.3mm (3") splited in 63mm (2.48") x 2. Do this answers your questions ?

You state it's your 370Z in the title line. Are you an owner of T1R? I don't even like my wife enough to put a license plate with her name on it on a car.

Sounds right. It just looked like the same size diameter pipe was being used for the crossover....

The layout looks identical to the stock layout save for the straight through mufflers. As such, it will likely have similar flow characteristics as the stock system, but will perhaps flow a little better.

Here's a picture of my stocker laid out on my garage floor.

I had a 70R-EM for my S2000. I loved it! But I was also under the impression that T1-r and AJ racing were owned by the same guy. Can you confirm? Are you an employee of either?

I have being looking at T1R's blog and seen this exhaust system. I thought they gonna be out in March or so. I love the tips. Do they fit with stock mid pipe?
