Fujita air intakes...

Does anyone of the vendors here have any information if Fujita will be making the dual intakes for the Z34 like they did for the Z33 and the G37? Or are you, the vendor, going to be carrying their product?

This is one air intake filter I'd really be interested in getting! :driving:

it looked like this before some @$$hole transvestite ran a red and totaled my G =(

Now Im in the market for a 370z 40th and was already looking into modifying it =) before I even have it...(in about 2weeks)

They're using my car as the R&D vehicle... currently running their G37 dual intakes, 370Z specific intakes are under development.

G37sHKS 11-12-2010 04:47 AM

tell them to make it CAI unlike the intakes that they made for g37 coupe, bcuz the owners claimed that there was a lose power after installing fujita intakes.

No such luck, it's still going to be dual short ram intakes similar to what they have for the VQ35HR.

CERBERUSlucid 11-12-2010 10:59 AM

waiting patiently =) Tell them to offer it in bronze again

really...damn...i hope it does better thatn takeda then....the way i see it with this car is unless you go CAI theres no point

TonyBPD 11-12-2010 11:14 AM

I would rock the Fujita's in bronze. Long as they're not a million dollars like the HKS intake.

Probably a couple of months still.... the final design and specifications has yet to be finalized.

Below is my car in the Fujita booth at RedLine Time Attack.

CERBERUSlucid 12-01-2010 06:27 PM

still waiting………

JollyGoodChap 12-02-2010 12:56 PM

lol, I completely forgot about Fujita altogether, they made a big push a few years back but it doesn't seem like they're marketing their stuff much lately

I did mention couple of months right? I dont think it's been that long yet =P My car is with them now for further R&D, we'll be getting her on the Dyno pretty soon =)

christian370z 12-03-2010 10:46 AM

Indeed they are.

christian370z 12-03-2010 10:53 PM

Huh, nice! There are a number of companies like Tanabe that are in Socal too, you are pretty close to me as well. Bronze intakes would look killer!

Someone should just contact them to see if they want to produce these for the 370's. A few years ago I brought my 91 SE-R to them and they fabbed up a cold air intake for it, even got to keep it ;) Last I checked they are in Murrieta.

If you read through the entire post you'll find that's what they're doing now using my vehicle.

 Yeah I know you said a couple months… just venting:rolleyes:
but I do have a suggestion for Fujita! Please ask them to fabricate the intake pipe with the MAF sensor facing downwards like Injen does with theres… it make the bay look soooo much cleaner:tup::tup::tup:

PLEASE!!! that was my only issue when I was running there intake in my G35c.
I would be one less wire to look at =) (actually 2 less, since its a dual intake)

CERBERUSlucid 12-21-2010 06:24 PM

Any undercover, confidential, secret, leaked photos to share (hint, hint) of the development process?

The only problem that could potentially cause is if there is any condensation or water vapor in the intake, it could flow down the pipe directly onto the MAF sensor.

It would look much better though, I agree!

:tup:Good point… well at least at an angle or somthing...stillens G3 intakes are perfect except for the sensor positioning... it sticks out wayyyy to much for my taste...as well as there clamps... Tell Fujita to keep it as clean as possible OP:tup:

Dual velocity stacks in championship bronze!!!

1 Attachment(s)
Sorry guys, these aluminum bellmouth-style velocity stacks are going to be exclusive to my setup =P

christian370z 12-27-2010 05:25 PM

That's fine, they are ugly anyway...* :p

Imperial 12-28-2010 02:24 AM

Function over form =)

robw9999 12-28-2010 06:58 AM

How are the others going to be set up?

CERBERUSlucid 01-02-2011 10:39 PM

So wait?! Fujita are deciding not to pursue a 370z intake and just ended up making & giving you those pieces?
